Singer Erik attended the mass wedding of 80 couples held at "Vietnam Happy Fest 2025".
On the morning of December 6th, the opening ceremony of Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 took place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi .
The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television, and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
The couple are from Ha Tinh and Nghe An provinces.
A special highlight of the festival was the mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples with the theme "Our Wedding Day - Love is Happiness," symbolizing the 80-year journey of "Independence - Freedom - Happiness." The wedding was not only for young couples but also honored silver, gold, and diamond couples who have been together for decades, a testament to their enduring love and understanding. The organizers presented gifts ranging from makeup and wedding attire to bouquets, along with blessings, to the couples, so that their love stories could spread throughout the happy landscape of Vietnam.
In addition to the wedding event, the Happy Vietnam Day celebration will also include a Vietnamese traditional costume parade called "Hundred Flowers Walking" which will take place on the morning of December 7th in the Ho Guom pedestrian area. Approximately 800 people wearing traditional costumes will parade through Hanoi's Old Quarter, showcasing a thousand years of history amidst modernity – setting a record for the number of people in Vietnamese traditional attire in a parade.
The "Happy Vietnam" exhibition tells stories of life through light and emotion, with each photograph capturing a simple heartbeat.
80 love stories, 80 journeys to happiness, walking hand in hand into a shared wedding ceremony, where hearts unite in the joy of the nation.
The "Tree of Happiness," adorned with thousands of wishes and messages hung like "seeds" of love, is a highlight. Here, the organizers are giving away 80,000 souvenir gifts to locals and tourists.
The "Sending Happiness to Tomorrow" mailbox is where participants can share their thoughts and feelings, allowing the organizers to act as a bridge to convey love and support...
The "Happy Vietnam 2025" Human Rights Media Award Ceremony, honoring inspiring photographs and videos about happiness in Vietnam, took place on the evening of December 6th. With the participation of many artists, the program spread a positive spirit of sharing and fostered love and support for the central region facing numerous difficulties.
“Vietnam Happy Fest 2025” is associated with the “Happy Vietnam” Human Rights Media Award, an annual award approved by the Government to encourage the creation of photos and videos about Vietnam and its people on digital platforms. Launched in 2023, the award has attracted more than 35,000 entries from both within and outside the country.
