Within the framework of "Vietnam Happy Fest 2025", a mass wedding took place for 80 couples of all ages, from many provinces and cities with the theme "Love is happiness".

On the morning of December 6, the opening ceremony of Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 took place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi .

The event was chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, Vietnam Television and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

The special highlight of the Festival was the mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples with the theme “Couple Day - Love is Happiness” symbolizing the 80-year journey of “Independence-Freedom-Happiness”. The wedding ceremony was not only for young couples but also honored silver, gold, and diamond couples who have been together for decades, proving their lasting love and understanding. The organizers gave gifts of makeup, wedding dresses, hand-held flowers... along with blessings to the couples so that their love story could spread in the picture of happy Vietnam.

In addition to the wedding event, within the framework of the Happy Vietnam Festival, there will also be a Vietnamese costume parade "Bach Hoa Bi Hanh" which will take place on the morning of December 7 at the Hoan Kiem Lake walking street. The event will have about 800 people wearing traditional costumes walking through Hanoi's Old Quarter, as if bringing a thousand years of history shining in the modern era - setting a record for the number of people wearing Vietnamese costumes in the parade.

The exhibition “Happy Vietnam” tells stories of life through light and emotion, in which each photo is a simple heartbeat.

The "Happy Vietnam 2025" Human Rights Media Awards ceremony honoring inspirational photo and video works about Vietnamese happiness took place on the evening of December 6, with the participation of many artists. The program spreads a positive spirit and shares, connecting love towards the central region which is facing many difficulties.

“Vietnam Happy Fest 2025” is associated with the “Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam” Human Rights Media Award, an annual award approved by the Government to encourage the creation of photos and videos about Vietnam and its people on digital platforms. Launched in 2023, the award has attracted more than 35,000 entries from within and outside the country.
