
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon visited and listened to an introduction to Dai Trung Mon, Khue Van Cac, Dai Thanh Palace, the Doctorate Steles, and the Chu Van An Monument... The two Prime Ministers enjoyed Quan Ho - a typical folk song of the Red River Delta, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh introduced to Prime Minister Christopher Luxon the history of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the first university in Vietnam built nearly 1,000 years ago. In particular, the Prime Minister highlighted the tradition of studiousness and respect for teachers of the Vietnamese people; saying that today, the Party and State of Vietnam always identifyeducation and training as the top national policy.

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon expressed his admiration for Vietnam's culture and education, in which the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam is the place to preserve, honor philosophy, and most uniquely preserve and demonstrate outstanding values.
New Zealand is one of the countries with the most developed education system in the world. In recent years, education and training have been a prominent area of cooperation, a main pillar of the bilateral relationship. The two countries signed the Strategic Cooperation Plan on Education for the period 2023 - 2026, and the Education Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and the Ministry of Education of New Zealand.

New Zealand continues to provide 30 scholarships per year for masters and doctoral training programs, and maintains an English language training program for Vietnamese civil servants. Since 1992, more than 600 Vietnamese officials have received English and professional training in New Zealand; more than 600 secondary school, masters and doctoral scholarships from the New Zealand Government have been awarded to Vietnamese students.
During the New Zealand Prime Minister's official visit to Vietnam, the two countries upgraded their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, in which both sides agreed to further promote cooperation in education and training.

At the Education Connection Forum on the morning of February 26 at the Foreign Trade University, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon announced 45 high school scholarships, 14 university scholarships and 39 master's and doctoral scholarships from the New Zealand Government for Vietnamese students and researchers.
