Go to the Show company under investigation for signs of fraud
According to Sohu, the Shanghai Market Supervision Administration has just announced the opening of an investigation with Go to the Show Company.
The source of the problem started with the fact that, a few days ago, through the Douyin platform, this unit advertised a brokerage service to meet A-list artists, athletes, and even senior leaders of businesses in China.
The brokerage company is being investigated for suspected fraud when offering to meet showbiz stars such as Thai Tu Khon, Duong Mich, etc.
The company Go to the Show even publicized the price list of the service of dining, singing and dancing together for 2 hours for entertainment stars such as Truong Tung Van ($842.000), Duong Sieu Viet ($1,1 million), Hoa Than Vu ($1,8 million), Thai Tu Khon ($2,8 million), Duong Mi ($2,1 million), Zhang Yixing ($4,2 million), and Jay Chou ($5,3 million).
Notably, Go to the Show also announced that they can invite the famous Messi player if the guest agrees to spend 50 million yuan ($7 million).
In addition, this company stipulates that customers will have to pay 50% of the amount in advance, if the negotiation and meeting goes not smoothly, the broker is not responsible for compensation.
Through investigation by Chengdu newspaper, this company requires customers to transfer money first. After that, they just scheduled a date with the stars but did not give a specific timeline.
However, on closer inspection, Go to the Show failed to provide any evidence that each successfully hosted the service. Suspicious of consumer fraud, Chengdu newspaper reported the case to the authorities.
As for the artists on the list, representatives of some people confirmed that they had never organized this private meeting service with Go to the Show. The stars in Chinese showbiz warn fans about the money trick and false advertising of the aforementioned company.
Is there a private meeting broker line in Cbiz?
In fact, not when Go to the Show Company was investigated, the story of private encounters with Chinese artists was exposed by the media.
