DNO - On the afternoon of December 25th, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs announced that, as of December 25th, 2023, it had received reports from 116 businesses regarding salary results for 2023 and plans for bonuses for the Gregorian New Year and the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024.

Accordingly, in 2023, the highest salary was 250 million VND/month in the private sector, while the lowest salary was 4.16 million VND/month.

Regarding Tet bonuses, for wholly state-owned limited liability companies, the highest New Year's bonus for 2024 is 34 million VND, and the lowest is 300,000 VND; the highest Lunar New Year bonus for the Year of the Dragon is 45 million VND, and the lowest is 500,000 VND.

For joint-stock companies with state capital contributions, the highest New Year's bonus in 2024 was over 21.4 million VND, and the lowest was 100,000 VND; the highest Lunar New Year bonus in the Year of the Dragon was 150 million VND, and the lowest was 500,000 VND.

For private businesses, the highest New Year's bonus in 2024 was 10 million VND, and the lowest was 50,000 VND; the highest Lunar New Year bonus in 2024 was over 1.047 billion VND, and the lowest was 200,000 VND.

For foreign-invested enterprises (FDI), the highest New Year's bonus in 2024 was over 157 million VND, and the lowest was 100,000 VND; the highest Lunar New Year bonus in the Year of the Dragon was over 311 million VND, and the lowest was 100,000 VND.
