At the meeting, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council reported on the expected content and program of the 19th session. The Culture and Social Affairs Committee reported on the results of the thematic supervision on "Results of implementing policies and laws on tourism development in the province, 2021-2023". The Economic and Budget Committee reported on the results of the review of: the draft Resolution approving the 5-year land use plan 2021-2025; the plan to build a new headquarters to address the need for office space after the merger of the three wards Kinh Dinh, My Huong, and Tan Tai; the plan to supplement the charter capital and investment capital for the Ninh Thuan Lottery Company Limited; and the adjustment to reduce the 2024 plan for central government budget funds.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the prompt and responsible preparation for the 19th session (the regular mid-year session of 2024), noting that the content presented at the session was thoroughly reviewed. Regarding the report on "Results of implementing policies and laws on tourism development in the province, 2021-2023," Mr. Pham Van Hau requested that relevant departments clarify existing shortcomings and limitations in concretizing the directives of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council to make tourism a key economic sector. This includes focusing on advising, analyzing existing shortcomings and limitations, and proposing solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles; proposing solutions for building regional linkages, investment promotion, advertising, and developing new products to boost tourism development. Regarding land use planning, it is necessary to implement detailed planning for each sector, carefully review data, and annual land use plans based on the provincial plan approved by the Prime Minister. Specifically assess and explain the annual increase and decrease in land use scale and supplement clear legal basis for each item to ensure maximum exploitation of land resources. The principle of constructing a new headquarters to address the need for office space after the merger of the three wards of Kinh Dinh, My Huong, and Tan Tai must be agreed upon. However, a plan for utilizing existing facilities after the merger must be considered to avoid waste. The principle of increasing the charter capital and investment capital for the Ninh Thuan Lottery Company Limited is approved. Implementation must adhere strictly to legal regulations and guidelines from relevant ministries and agencies.
