At approximately 6 PM on May 8th, in the Muong Hoa stream area, specifically the section flowing through Ban Pho village, Ta Van commune, Senior Lieutenant Phan Van Quyet, Assistant to the Ta Van Commune Military Command, promptly rescued a local resident trapped in the floodwaters.

According to the report, at that time, Ms. Chau Thi S., residing in Ban Pho village, was crossing a stream when she was suddenly caught in a rising floodwater. The strong current trapped her in the middle of the stream, putting her life in danger. Although some villagers noticed the incident, the high water level made rescue efforts extremely difficult.

At approximately 6 PM on May 8th, Ms. Chau Thi S., residing in Ban Pho village, Ta Van commune, was swept away by floodwaters and trapped in a stream. Upon discovering the incident, Lieutenant Phan Van Quyet, without hesitation, braved the raging current and promptly rescued the victim, bringing her to safety on the shore.

At that very moment, while returning from militia training, Lieutenant Phan Van Quyet discovered the incident. Undeterred by the cold, rainy weather and the danger, he immediately plunged into the raging water, reached the victim, and brought them safely to shore.

It is known that Senior Lieutenant Phan Van Quyet was born on December 8, 1987, in Ta Van Day 2 village, Ta Van commune. With the sense of responsibility of a grassroots military officer and a son of the locality, he has always been exemplary, dedicated, and has successfully completed all assigned tasks.
