The items repaired and renovated include: court surface; green space; and the addition of outdoor exercise equipment such as mobile basketball hoops, badminton posts, and multi-purpose sports frames.
In addition, recycling bins and trash cans have been provided to encourage people to collect and sort waste at the source, contributing to environmental protection, avoiding waste of reusable items, and aligning with the practical conditions and long-term needs of the locality. Young people and residents of Nai Hien Dong ward, Son Tra district, Da Nang city now have a healthy and spacious sports training area, with Tien Linh as their ambassador.
Aiming for 20 National Projects
To date, two projects have become operational in Thanh Hoa (inaugurated on October 4th) and Da Nang (October 13th), along with three more projects scheduled for completion in October in Can Tho, Bac Giang, and Ho Chi Minh City. Following these, four more projects in the provinces of Dong Nai, Bac Ninh, Binh Duong, and Nghe An are expected to be inaugurated in 2024.
Over the three years from 2024 to 2026, TCP Vietnam Company plans to collaborate with the Vietnam Youth Union, VVC, and Ambassador Tien Linh to build a total of 20 projects aimed at providing quality sports spaces for young people, especially in disadvantaged areas lacking training facilities.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Hien Huy, General Director of TCP Vietnam, shared: “Over the past 5 years, TCP Vietnam has consistently invested in the younger generation – dynamic and pioneering individuals who contribute to the development of society.
We are well aware of the urgent societal need to create community sports spaces. The inauguration of the "Youth Sports Space – Energizing, Unleashing Youthful Spirit" in Da Nang City is not only a significant step in creating quality sports spaces for young people, but also demonstrates our commitment to improving the health and quality of life for the younger generation in particular and the community in general.
It is expected that 20 similar projects will be built nationwide by TCP Vietnam Company in coordination with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the National Volunteer Center (VVC) from 2024 to 2026.
These efforts further emphasize TCP's three key strategies: Improvement – Development – Care, with the mission of "Energizing, Revitalizing." We believe that the program will spread positive energy to the community, create conditions for the holistic development of the younger generation, contribute to promoting the sports movement, and build a strong future for Vietnamese society.

This is one of nine projects donated in nine provinces and cities in 2024 to celebrate the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, term 2024-2029. With the spirit of "Recharging Energy - Unleashing Youthful Spirit," the youth sports space project will provide young people with a space to train, develop their physical fitness, and improve their quality of life, thereby recharging energy and unleashing the youthful spirit of Vietnamese youth.
