On November 18th, Tien Lu district held a conference to announce and implement Resolution No. 1248/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated October 24, 2024, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units in Hung Yen province for the period 2023-2025 (Resolution No. 1248). Attending the conference was Comrade Dao Hong Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

According to Resolution No. 1248, the administrative units at the commune level in Tien Lu district are reorganized as follows: The entire area and population of Minh Phuong commune are merged with Cuong Chinh commune to form the new administrative unit Cuong Chinh commune; after the merger, Cuong Chinh commune has a natural area of ​​10.17 km2 and a population of 12,718 people. The entire area and population of Duc Thang commune are merged with Hai Trieu commune to form the new administrative unit Hai Thang commune; after the merger, Hai Thang commune has a natural area of ​​9.32 km2 and a population of 10,882 people. The entire area and population of Di Che and Ngo Quyen communes are merged into Vuong town to form the new administrative unit Vuong town. After the merger, Vuong town has a natural area of ​​13.93 km2 and a population of 21,084 people. After the reorganization, Tien Lu district has 11 administrative units at the commune level, including 10 communes and 1 town.

At the conference, delegates were briefed on and implemented Plan No. 156/KH-UBND dated November 14, 2024, of the Tien Lu District People's Committee on the implementation of Resolution No. 1248.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Dao Hong Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda Department, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, requested that in the coming time, Party committees and authorities from the district to the grassroots level should strengthen information and propaganda work so that cadres, Party members, and the people understand and agree to implement Resolution No. 1248; pay attention to resolving the regime and policies for cadres, civil servants, and non-specialized workers in the new administrative units; fully hand over and receive relevant documents and records in accordance with regulations; arrange, manage, and use offices and public assets after reorganization in accordance with regulations, avoiding waste; and create the most favorable conditions for individuals and organizations when carrying out procedures for converting various types of documents...
