Duong Thi Van was born on September 20, 1994, in Ha Nam province . She has had a passion for football since she was a child.
At the age of 15, Duong Thi Van was introduced to the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Club by Mr. Pham Hai Anh to fulfill her passion. With her talent and hard work, at the age of 18, Van earned a starting position at the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Club.
In November 2013, Duong Thi Van was called up to the national team to prepare for the 27th Sea Games. In March 2014, Van was also summoned to the national team to prepare for the Asian Women's Football Championship Finals.
2019 was a brilliant year for the player born in 1994, as she and her teammates in the Vietnamese women's national team successfully defended their gold medal at the 30th SEA Games in the Philippines. Since that tournament, Duong Thi Van has become an indispensable part of the Vietnamese women's national team.
Currently, Duong Thi Van plays as a midfielder for Than Khoang San Vietnam FC and the Vietnam women's national team.
