The Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor directed all levels of trade unions in the province to organize a peak period of implementing the "Trade Union Meal" program from July 22 to 28.
The program is an activity organized by the grassroots trade union in coordination with the head of the agency/unit and the employer. Through the program, it contributes to creating a peak communication campaign to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024).
This will attract, unite, and closely connect union members and workers with the trade union organization; effectively carry out the work of caring for their material and spiritual lives, and aim towards building long-term welfare programs for union members and workers.


Accordingly, the union's meal is organized with a higher meal allowance than the regular shift meal, ensuring food safety and hygiene, contributing to improving the living standards and motivating workers.

The value of a meal in the "Trade Union Meal" program = value of the daily shift meal + additional value from trade union funds + additional value from other socialized sources (if any).
