In Thai Hoa town, for more than 10 years as the Head of the Savings and Loan Group in Doc Cao block, Quang Tien ward, Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh is known as a dedicated and enthusiastic group leader.

With a slim, active figure and a kind smile, anyone who meets Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Head of the Savings and Loan Group of Doc Cao block, Quang Tien ward, will have a good impression. In 2013, he took on the role of head of the loan group. At that time, there were many difficulties from capital sources to the awareness of the loan group members. With the determination to bring the preferential policies of the Thai Hoa Town Social Policy Bank to the right and targeted subjects, he did not hesitate to study the reality, analyze, evaluate and mobilize, creating conditions for his group members to boldly invest in developing suitable industries. "Slow and steady wins the race", his role was promoted, spread and created clear results.

Mr. Thanh shared: “At first, there were really many difficulties and concerns. I always thought about how to help people in my block access these preferential policies? How can they make use of the capital after borrowing? I tried to learn, work with the bank, understand people's needs, analyze and evaluate the industries during that period…”.

Thus, the trust of the group members in the leader Nguyen Trung Thanh was increasingly multiplied. From a group with many limitations in Quang Tien ward, up to now, the Savings and Loan Group of Doc Cao block has ranked at the top of the whole Thai Hoa town.

Currently, the savings and loan group managed by him has 40 members, with a total outstanding debt of over 3 billion VND, including loan programs of the Town Social Policy Bank such as: Loan program to support poor households with housing, loan for job creation, clean water loan... The loan capital has helped households invest in production, livestock, business, purchase agricultural machinery, open restaurants... to develop the economy and improve their lives.

In particular, over the years, Mr. Thanh's savings and loan group has had no outstanding interest or overdue debt. 100% of the group members have paid interest and saved in full, with savings balances reaching over 300 million VND. This result is thanks to Mr. Thanh's close supervision. Not only does he learn about family circumstances and loan needs, he also enthusiastically guides group members through loan procedures and regularly monitors and urges people to use the capital for the right purposes and fulfill their commitments to the bank.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh shared: During the working process, the motto that my team and I have put forth is how to make 100% of team members have access to preferential loans and must ensure increased profits in production and business. As the team leader, I always think about how to mobilize disadvantaged households in the village to actively participate in the team, understand how to use preferential capital for the right purpose, effectively to ensure that life is increasingly improved.

One of the factors that contributed to the success of the Savings and Loan Group in Doc Cao block, Quang Tien ward, Thai Hoa town is the timely and scientific advice and support from the group leader to the group members. In addition, Mr. Thanh also fully participated in the bank's meetings to promptly grasp new policies, promptly inform about the difficulties and problems of the group and each household to have a solution.

Mr. Thanh is an energetic, enthusiastic person, dedicated to the bank's credit policies.
