Ha Tinh allocates 6.9 billion VND to support localities in preventing storm No. 5

(Baohatinh.vn) - The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has just issued Decision No. 2142/QD-UBND on supplementing the budget for the People's Committees of communes and wards to carry out the work of preventing and combating storm No. 5 and possible floods in the coming time.

Accordingly, the budget of 6.9 billion VND from the provincial budget reserve in 2025 will be allocated to supplement the budget for the People's Committees of communes and wards to carry out the work of preventing and combating storm No. 5 and possible floods in the coming time as requested by the Department of Finance in Official Dispatch No. 5873/STC-NS dated August 23, 2025.

Localities urgently harvested summer-autumn rice to minimize damage caused by storm No. 5.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance, State Treasury Region XII and relevant agencies to disburse funds promptly and in accordance with regulations.

The People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for managing and using the supported funds to ensure proper purposes and effectiveness, and to make payments and settlements according to current regulations.

The Department of Finance, the State Treasury of Region XII and the People's Committees of communes and wards, according to their functions and tasks, shall be fully responsible before the law, the Provincial People's Committee, inspection and examination agencies for the honesty, accuracy, and compliance with legal regulations of information, data, support objects, proposed support funds, appraisal content, payment, settlement, and expenditure control for the allocated funds; the implementation process must ensure procedures and regulations, and absolutely prevent loss and waste.
