Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong and delegates attending the program
In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, the delegation visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense at the silent and sacred 67 Church. Incense sticks were lit as a deep gratitude from today's generation to Uncle Ho - the one who devoted his whole life to the cause of national independence, freedom and happiness of the people. After the incense offering ceremony, the delegation visited the ancestral temple, Uncle Ho's fish pond and watched precious documentary films about Uncle Ho. The images and relics still preserved evoke the close and sacred feelings of Uncle Ho, while reminding today's and future generations of the responsibility to preserve and promote the great values that he left for the nation.
In particular, the simple, familiar images of his life and career appeared so moving that many artists could not hold back their tears. Many artists shared that, although they had watched documentaries about Uncle Ho many times, each time they were moved, more proud, more responsible. Here, the artists participating in the Parade and Marching Ceremony were honored to be awarded the Uncle Ho Badge.
Delegates and the Cultural and Sports Bloc respectfully offered incense and wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
Speaking at the program, People's Artist Nguyen Xuan Bac - Director of the Department of Performing Arts, emotionally expressed: "This is an extremely sacred and meaningful moment, for each of us artists to offer incense and commemorate beloved Uncle Ho, to look back and reflect on the noble values he left for the nation. From that endless source of inspiration, the artists and actors participating in the parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 will bring all their passion, talent and responsibility to contribute to creating art programs and performances worthy of the stature of this important historical event of the country".
On behalf of the Department of Performing Arts, People's Artist Nguyen Xuan Bac sent his sincere thanks to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, the Board of Directors of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and all artists and actors who did not mind the harsh weather to attend the program, expressing their feelings and gratitude to Uncle Ho.

The program of visiting President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and offering incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace is not only an activity of special political and cultural significance, but also a profound spiritual mark, adding confidence, spirit and motivation to the artists before the parade and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. This is also an opportunity for each person to remind themselves: to live, work and contribute more worthy of the love and expectations that Uncle Ho has entrusted to future generations./.
