Evaluate products with potential to achieve OCOP 4 – 5 stars.
Participating in the OCOP product evaluation phase 01 in 2025 are 6 entities with 7 products belonging to the group of processed foods and regional specialties. All 7 products registered for OCOP upgrade from 03 stars to 04 stars. Of which, Dori Joint Stock Company in Ly Son Special Zone has 02 products, including: Ly Son Dori Garlic and Ly Son Dori Black Garlic. The remaining 05 products are Tra Bong Cinnamon Incense of Tra Bong Cinnamon Incense Company Limited in Tra Bong Commune; Sonita Dried Cordyceps of Ninh Truong Medicinal Mushroom Company Limited in Tho Phong Commune; Thu Ba Dried Beef of Thu Ba Production and Trading Company Limited in Cam Thanh Ward; My Thien Ceramic Vase of Dang Van Trinh Business Household in Binh Son Commune and Black Garlic Extract of Phu Sinh Trading and Service Company Limited in Ly Son Special Zone.
The Advisory Group of the Provincial OCOP Council has carefully reviewed and assessed the documents and quality of each product based on the set of criteria for evaluating and classifying OCOP products issued by the Central Government. Members of the Advisory Group actively discussed and provided professional advice on many aspects such as production process, packaging and labeling, traceability, creativity, and market development potential. The Advisory Group acknowledged the efforts of OCOP entities in improving product designs and quality to meet the increasingly high demands of consumers.
Based on the evaluation and appraisal results of the Advisory Group, the Provincial OCOP Council will continue to provide opinions to recommend and propose the Central Government to consider and recognize national 4-5 star OCOP products for qualified products.
