Gia Lai Provincial Military Command launched a program to support the Cuban people.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of August 26, the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command (CHQS) held a launching ceremony for a program to support the Cuban people with the theme "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship". Colonel Mai Kim Binh - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, chaired the launching ceremony.

Attending the launching ceremony were Colonel Nguyen The Vinh - Commander of the Provincial Military Command, leaders of affiliated agencies and units, and officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Colonel Mai Kim Binh emphasized: This is a humanitarian activity of profound significance, aiming to mobilize resources to support the Cuban people with medical supplies and necessities; at the same time, demonstrating the loyalty, attachment, and international solidarity of the Vietnamese people for the Cuban people. This is also an opportunity to express gratitude for the noble acts that the Cuban people have done for Vietnam during the arduous war years.

At the launching ceremony, officers and soldiers in the entire provincial military supported the Cuban people with more than 187 million VND.
