At the training course, households were given detailed instructions on how to build barns, prepare farming tools, select healthy breeds; techniques for caring for, raising, checking the health of ducks and keeping a diary. At the same time, farmers were also equipped with knowledge on veterinary hygiene, prevention and treatment of some common diseases in sea ducks.

Sea ducks have the ability to adapt well to current climate change conditions, especially salinity intrusion and drought. The method of raising this duck species is not much different from traditional domestic ducks, does not require large investment capital, can take advantage of natural food sources and has a very good ability to find food for itself.
According to the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center, in 2025, the Center will deploy a commercial sea duck farming model linked to product consumption in Tuy Phuoc Tay commune, with a scale of 3,000 ducks.
Developing sea duck farming not only helps people diversify their farming objects, but also contributes to increasing economic value and bringing a stable and sustainable source of income.
This is also a suitable direction, contributing to promoting production-consumption linkage, ensuring product output, improving livestock farming efficiency, and meeting market demand.
