The competition block of Lam Dong Province's Universities and Colleges includes 6 schools: Bao Loc College of Technology and Economics ; Da Lat College; Da Lat College of Tourism; Yersin University of Da Lat; Da Lat University; Lam Dong Medical College.

Units in the Emulation Bloc have the function and task of training human resources to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country associated with the need for international integration; effectively carry out emulation movements in their units, fully participate in the activities of the Bloc and complete the set plans.

The report at the conference showed that in the 2024-2025 school year, schools in the Emulation Bloc always identify the task of training high-quality human resources to serve the socio-economic development of Lam Dong province and the region as the top goal. Training work is implemented seriously, in accordance with regulations, in line with the orientation of fundamental and comprehensive innovationof education and training in the spirit of Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW.

100% of schools in the Block have completed the training plan and progress for the 2024-2025 school year, and have effectively implemented the enrollment consulting work for the 2025-2026 school year. Strengthening the direction of building "Schools with cultural life", "Schools without social evils", creating a healthy pedagogical environment for students to study and practice.

Schools proactively review, adjust, and develop training programs in the direction of competency-based approaches, enhancing practice and application in line with labor market needs; actively improve teaching methods with students as the center; organize scientific seminars and specialized workshops to improve training and management quality.

Digital transformation in education has been promoted by schools when deploying many software for training management, student management, staff management, AI training for lecturers and students to access new technology... The teaching staff has been gradually standardized, improving their professional qualifications, pedagogical skills and information technology capacity; many lecturers actively participate in scientific research, compile teaching materials and transfer knowledge into practice.

Regarding training quality, all schools achieved 100% of the learning and training classification criteria.

Speaking at the conference, Dr. Bui Quang Son - Principal of Dalat College, Head of the Emulation Block said: Schools in the Emulation Block have seriously implemented the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State; actively deployed patriotic emulation movements, linked with the professional tasks and characteristics of each unit.

Activities of political and ideological education, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle have been implemented synchronously and in depth, creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of cadres, lecturers and students.

Training, scientific research, and international cooperation have many positive changes; the quality of the teaching staff is increasingly improved, gradually meeting the requirements of innovation and integration.

The emulation bloc operates in solidarity and close coordination; members actively participate in emulation movements, with many typical and effective models and initiatives.

The work of summarizing, evaluating, and considering emulation and rewards is carried out democratically, publicly, and in accordance with regulations.

The head of the emulation block and the units in the block organized the signing of the emulation agreement and launched a patriotic emulation movement with the theme "Discipline, responsibility, innovation, and improving training quality".

The activities of the block are all of good quality, carefully prepared, schools in the block are responsible for participating in cultural, artistic and scientific research activities, promoting the spirit of solidarity, expanding exchanges, sharing, learning experiences, and promoting the strengths of each unit in the emulation block.

However, in addition to positive results, the emulation movement of the bloc still faces many difficulties and obstacles. For example: “Some units in the bloc still face difficulties in terms of facilities, investment funds for professional activities, scientific research and digital transformation. College enrollment is difficult due to the low level of secondary school student classification. The quality of admission to schools in the bloc is not high, the imbalance between training systems and between professions is still relatively large. The work of discovering and replicating advanced models has not been carried out regularly; the reward for individuals directly working and teaching is still limited. International cooperation in some schools is still localized, lacking depth and has not fully exploited its potential,” added Dr. Bui Quang Son.

Dalat College awarded the rotating flag to Dalat University, Head of the emulation block for the 2025 - 2026 school year

At the conference, the emulation bloc unanimously proposed the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to award the emulation flag to Da Lat College, and proposed the Provincial Chairman to award Certificates of Merit to Bao Loc College of Economics and Technology and Da Lat University.
