The Ho Chi Minh City Election Committee has just announced the situation regarding the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term on March 15th. According to the announcement, as of 7 PM, the voter turnout rate in the city reached 96.67%, an increase of 18.81% compared to the report at 3 PM.
Currently, 161 out of 168 localities in the city have achieved a voter turnout rate of over 90%, including 31 communes and wards with a 100% voter turnout. No polling station has a voter turnout rate below 50%.

By the end of the day, the atmosphere at the polling stations remained enthusiastic, with voters actively participating in the election with a joyful spirit, truly making it a national festival. Voters expressed confidence in the success of the election and highly appreciated the quality of the brief biographies and action programs of the candidates for the 16th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
