On the afternoon of May 22nd, the 2026 Excellent Orator Competition, organized by the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City's Party agencies with the theme "Unwavering Faith - Steadfast Ideals," concluded and awards were presented after a day of lively competition.

In his concluding remarks at the competition, Nguyen Khoa Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City's Party Agencies, emphasized that the competition was a practical political activity aimed at achieving accomplishments to celebrate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the city being named after President Ho Chi Minh. This was an important opportunity to concretize the widespread dissemination of the core contents and new points of the Party's 14th National Congress Resolution to all cadres and Party members.

Evaluating the quality of the competition, Mr. Nguyen Khoa Hai acknowledged the serious investment of the 27 contestants from various agencies and units in Ho Chi Minh City. The competition outlines were concise and cited accurate sources. In the presentations, the contestants displayed confident styles, seamlessly combining spoken language with vivid visual slides. In the question-and-answer section, the contestants handled situations quickly and skillfully defended their viewpoints.

Earlier that morning, the competition opened with a judging panel consisting of: Nguyen Khoa Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City's Party Agencies; Tang Huu Phong, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee; and Pham Ngoc Loi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy.
This year's competition topics are diverse and highly topical, including: new developments in Party building; building a culture of integrity to combat corruption; breakthrough solutions in science and technology , digital transformation; and social welfare work.
The Organizing Committee awarded supplementary prizes, consolation prizes, 3 third prizes, 2 second prizes, and the first prize to contestant Pham Thi Van (Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Cadres) for her presentation "The happiness of the people is the highest goal".
