In particular, Thu Duc ward has become a bright spot of the new Ho Chi Minh City when it boldly applied modern technology, which is to bring robots to support people in completing administrative procedures.
At the Thu Duc Ward Public Administration Service Center, the working atmosphere is smooth and professional. The facilities are well-invested, the reception area is spacious, modern and friendly. In particular, people are surprised to be served by a robot, a smart device that can offer drinks, guide processes, check administrative procedures and assist with movement.
In addition to robots, Thu Duc Ward also equipped two legal document lookup machines for people to find information themselves. For those who are not familiar with electronic operations, officers and employees are ready to guide them step by step. The ward has arranged 10 document reception counters, including a separate counter for the disadvantaged. Each counter has a computer for people to fill out their own documents, get a number, and choose a counter. From scanning documents, entering data to submitting results, all have staff to support promptly.
In addition, a notable new point is that the two-level government is no longer limited by administrative boundaries. People in other wards can submit their applications at Thu Duc ward, helping to save time and effort for people and businesses when needed.
Mr. Mai Huu Quyet, Secretary of the Thu Duc Ward Party Committee, said that the Public Administration Center is designed to be modern, friendly, and apply digital technology so that people can be served quickly, save time, and avoid inconvenience. At the same time, digital technology also helps leaders effectively monitor the activities of the People's Council and People's Committee and ensure that there is no interruption in serving people and businesses.

Not only Thu Duc, the first day of operating the new model in other wards also recorded an urgent and determined working atmosphere.
In Saigon ward, on the first day of operating the two-level local government, everything went smoothly, and the staff and civil servants enthusiastically served the people.
At around 8am, many people were present at the Saigon Ward Public Administration Service Center (45-47 Le Duan) to complete administrative procedures. Here, people were arranged a reception area and guided through administrative procedures.
The procedure area is arranged with 11 desks to receive documents on certification, household registration, marital status extracts, marriage registration, social insurance, etc. In front of the reception desk, there is a board with the staff's full name and mobile phone number for people to contact when necessary.
Mr. Hoang Ngu Thuong said that he completed the procedures for transferring land use rights half a month ago in District 1, and now the appointment is to go to Saigon ward to receive the results. He thought the procedures would take a long time, but everything is very convenient and favorable for the people.
Mr. Bui Truong Giang, Deputy Director of the Saigon Ward Public Administration Service Center, said that the ward's motto is to take businesses and people as the center of service so that administrative procedures are quick and convenient, limiting the need for people to travel many times.
During the administrative procedure processing, if there are any deficiencies in the citizen's records, they will be supplemented once within a certain period of time according to the provisions of law. After receiving and returning the results, we will conduct a survey on the level of satisfaction of the people.

In Binh Tan Ward, Mr. Tran Duc Minh, Vice Chairman of Binh Tan Ward People's Committee, said that the staff were present very early on the first day of implementation, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility. The implementation of the new model - two-level government after one implementation session has helped to shorten the distance between staff and people, solving work faster and more effectively. Hopefully, in the near future, everything will go more smoothly so that staff can complete their tasks well and people can feel secure, saving time and money... when doing public administrative procedures.
On the same morning, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc was present at the Di An Ward Public Administration Center to survey the reception of people coming to do administrative procedures on the first day of operating the new ward and commune.
The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee encouraged the staff, civil servants and public employees of Di An ward on their first working day, in their new roles as staff, civil servants and public employees of the new Ho Chi Minh City.
