Phan Thiet Expressway Rest Stop

Two rest stops on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway are urgently constructing essential items to serve people during the 2025 Lunar New Year.

According to Giao Thong Newspaper's reporter, as of January 7, the construction items of two rest stops on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway have been revealed.

According to the plan, two rest stops are located parallel at Km 47+500, bordering the two provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Thuan , and are planned into many sub-zones.

After more than two months of construction, the rough leveling, parking lot, and restroom areas have been completed. The contractor is rushing to install the upper structure of the areas according to the design.

At the construction site, dozens of road rollers and excavators are working continuously, speeding up progress to put the project into operation in time to serve people traveling during the 2025 Lunar New Year.

At the rest stop on the right side of the line (Phan Thiet - Dong Nai direction), the contractor is speeding up the construction and installation of steel trusses for the rest stop area, electricity, water and lighting systems.

Workers are busy installing restroom areas on steel trusses.

Dump trucks and road rollers operate at construction sites during the days before Tet.

According to the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway Management Board, up to now, the land area in Binh Thuan province has been handed over. The remaining area belongs to Xuan Loc district (Dong Nai province), the Board is closely following the locality to hand over soon.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Hop, Deputy Director of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway Management Board (under the Thang Long Project Management Board) said that the contractor is constructing parking lots, restrooms... in the assigned areas.

As planned, the rest stop will put into temporary operation of parking lots and restrooms before January 20, serving people traveling during the 2025 Lunar New Year.

The 99km Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, passing through Dong Nai and Binh Thuan provinces, was put into operation at the end of April 2023. The winning investor to build two rest stops is the FUTABUSLINES - Thanh Hiep Phat joint venture (Joint venture of Phuong Trang FUTABUSLINES Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company - Thanh Hiep Phat Company Limited).
