Focus on improving the quality of preschool education.

DNO - On the morning of May 21st, in Tam Ky ward, the Department of Education and Training implemented the city's People's Committee's plans to improve the quality of preschool education in urban areas and industrial zones, and to achieve universal preschool education for children aged 3 to 5 years old in the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2050.

The two plans aim to improve the overall quality of preschool education , build happy, child-centered schools, create opportunities for children to play, experience, practice, and develop their individual abilities; ensure equity in access to education, prioritizing children in disadvantaged areas, industrial zones, children of factory workers and migrant laborers…

The specific targets are that by 2028, approximately 70% of communes and wards will have completed universal preschool education for children aged 3-5, and by 2030, 100% of communes and wards will have completed universal preschool education.

Furthermore, the development of the school system should be standardized and modernized, increasing the percentage of schools meeting national standards, ensuring sufficient sturdy classrooms, one-way kitchens, functional rooms, and adequate equipment and teaching materials for children and teachers; ensuring equity in access to education, prioritizing children in disadvantaged areas, industrial zones, and children of workers and migrant laborers; and implementing the new preschool education program effectively and applying advanced educational methods in the region.
