Tran Quyet Chien joins the executive board of the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards Federation

Quyet Chien is a star in the Vietnamese Billiards village.

Within the framework of the Congress, HBSF reported on the Federation's activities during the 2021-2025 term and development orientation for the new term. The Congress also elected a new Executive Committee consisting of 1 President, 5 Vice Presidents and 9 Executive Committee members. Mr. Nguyen Van Tri continues to hold the position of President of the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards and Snooker Federation, along with Vice Presidents: Ly Kim Luan, Thai Chieu Dien, Nguyen Viet Hoa, Luong Khac Tam and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy.

Chairman Nguyen Van Tri shared: “During the past term, the Federation successfully organized many tournaments. Our goal in the next term is to bring back many international tournaments, especially in the 9-ball pool, 10-ball pool and carom events”. He also emphasized that after the Congress, the Federation will organize the World Cup in Ho Chi Minh City, a tournament that has been organized many times before.

One of the highlights of this Congress is the appearance of Tran Quyet Chien, a four-time World Cup 3-Cushion champion, on the list of Executive Committee members. Tran Quyet Chien said he will contribute his efforts to the development of billiards in Ho Chi Minh City and across the country, while also solving difficulties in competition funding, helping players have more conditions to improve their skills.

The 2nd Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards and Snooker Federation promises to be a solid foundation for the strong development of this sport in the city and nationwide in the coming term.
