At the interrogation, the defendants presented their entire criminal history and behavior. For the act of "abusing positions and powers while performing official duties" the defendants: Tran Thi Van, Nguyen Thi Khuong, Tran Thi Hoa has performed the act of paying improperly the salary regulations and internal and external employment regimes, causing damage to the State budget of over 241 million dong. In addition, he made two contracts to rent machinery and vehicles for the labor group with the amount of 2 million VND to spend outside the regulations.
For the act of "violating regulations on compensation, support and resettlement when the State recovers land", the defendants: Tran Thi Van, Nguyen Thi Khuong, Pham Trung Kien, Most of Tran Xuan Manh admits to the crime being prosecuted according to the indictment of the Provincial People's Procuracy. In which, admitting that the implementation of the 31st phase of compensation and support plan has violated the land law in compensation for crops and the policy of supporting stable life and production. Defendants Van and Khuong testified because Nguyen Tuan Anh pressed the progress and threatened to terminate Khuong's contract if he did not submit the plan on time, so accused failed to collect any further documents related to the determination of the remaining land investment costs.
The defendants also admitted that they failed to check and verify that the subjects whose land was recovered were directly engaged in agricultural production and had a stable source of income on the acquired land.
