Awarding prizes for the "Video Book" contest.

In response to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025, on the morning of April 21st, the Department of Education and Training of Phu Ly City organized the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the "Book Video - Reading Inspiration" competition in Phu Ly City for the 2024-2025 school year.

Taking place from October 10, 2024 to April 1, 2025, the competition attracted 29 participating units with a total of 95 entries. The submitted video entries showed elaborate investment in both content and form, including: introductions to the book titles and genres, accompanied by diverse, rich, and vivid supporting images. Many videos applied modern technology, especially artificial intelligence, in content creation; and were posted on social media, attracting thousands of likes and views.

The competition organizers awarded first prize to one individual and two group prizes to those with the most high-quality video entries.

The Organizing Committee awarded two second prizes to individual participants.

The competition organizers selected 13 individual winners, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 4 third prizes, and 6 consolation prizes. The first prize went to a student from Minh Khai Primary School for their video introducing the work "Purple Flower Terrace" by writer Nghiem Van Tan. The organizers also awarded two group prizes to Tien Hiep Secondary School and Luong Khanh Thien Secondary School for having many high-quality video entries.

The competition aims to create a favorable reading environment and encourage the development of reading culture among students and the community. It also provides an opportunity to promote reading habits among staff, teachers, students, and learners in schools and community learning centers, encouraging them to introduce books within their families, clans, schools, and workplaces, thereby contributing to the building of a learning society.

The competition also provides a platform for individuals to showcase their creativity through creating book introduction videos; developing digital content creation skills, using technology and especially artificial intelligence (AI) to serve learning and research, contributing to spreading the spirit of digital transformation in the community.
