The Quang Tri Provincial Military Command presented funds and gifts to support disadvantaged ethnic minority students in A Vao commune, Dakrong district.
For the 2024-2025 school year, using funds from the Ministry of National Defense 's "Army Officers and Soldiers Helping Children Go to School" project, the Provincial Military Command awarded support decisions to 45 students in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Huong Hoa and Dakrong districts. The support amount was 7.4 million VND per child per year, totaling 333 million VND.
During this period, 21 students from A Vao commune, a particularly disadvantaged area in Dakrong district, received support. These are students from difficult family circumstances who always strive to study and train well.
The project "Military Officers and Soldiers Helping Children Go to School" is a deeply humane program that helps students from ethnic minority communities with particularly difficult circumstances have better opportunities to attend school. The Provincial Military Command will continue to work alongside local Party committees, authorities, and schools to coordinate, review, and implement the project more effectively in the next academic year.
