Funding support for mountainous students

Today, June 5, in A Vao commune, Dakrong district, the Military Command of Quang Tri province organized a program to award funds to support students under the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" for the 2024-2025 school year.

Quang Tri Provincial Military Command presented funds and gifts to ethnic minority students in difficult circumstances in A Vao commune, Dakrong district.

In the 2024-2025 school year, from the funding source to support the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school" of the Ministry of National Defense , the Provincial Military Command has awarded a decision to support 45 students in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Huong Hoa and Dakrong districts, the support amount is 7.4 million VND/child/year, with a total cost of 333 million VND.

During this period, A Vao commune, a particularly disadvantaged area of ​​Dakrong district, has 21 students receiving support. These are students with difficult family circumstances but always strive to study and practice well.

The project “Army officers and soldiers help children go to school” is a deeply humane program, helping ethnic minority students with especially difficult circumstances have more conditions to go to school. The Provincial Military Command will continue to accompany the Party Committee, local authorities and schools to coordinate, review and better implement the project in the next school year.
