The club organizes a monthly gift-giving event for elderly people living alone and those in difficult circumstances in Vinh Yen ward.
The Vinh Phuc Voluntary Blood Donation Club, formerly known as the Vinh Phuc Red Blood Drop Club, was established on August 28, 2018. Initially, the club had 37 members; after 8 years of operation, it has grown to 260, with over 1,000 volunteers. Club members are diverse in age, profession, and occupation, and come from many localities: Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Hanoi , etc. From its inception, members have always believed that "Happiness is multiplied when drops of blood can save the lives of others." For the members, donating blood to save lives is not only a meaningful act but also a responsibility of young people towards the community and society. Over the years, the club has regularly collaborated with various organizations to hold periodic blood donation activities. Currently, a fixed blood donation point is located at Vinh Phuc General Hospital once a month, attracting a large number of participants. At the fixed blood donation point alone, the club has donated thousands of units of blood.
From their hearts, each person has their own way of pursuing noble causes. Some choose to connect with others and volunteer, while many quietly donate blood, saving lives in a timely manner. A drop of donated blood can save lives in emergencies such as accidents, surgery, or treatment for patients with blood diseases. Voluntary blood donation is not only an expression of compassion but also a testament to solidarity and sharing within the community, embodying the meaning of "Every drop of blood given saves a life."

Volunteers participate in blood donation at Vinh Phuc General Hospital.
With 33 blood donations, Mr. Duong Tuan Thanh, an officer in the Finance and Planning Department of the Binh Xuyen Regional Medical Center, embodies a wealth of love and sharing. At the center, Mr. Thanh works daily with numbers, documents, and financial balance sheets. However, there's a special "calculation" outside of the books that he has persistently performed for many years: 33 voluntary blood donations – 33 times contributing to extending the lives of patients. Mr. Thanh shared: "Working in the medical environment, I understand better than anyone the necessity of blood in emergency cases. Witnessing the fragile boundary between life and death for patients every day, I deeply understand that blood can wait for patients, but patients cannot wait for blood. During my time as the Youth Union Secretary, I always set an example, encouraging Youth Union members in the agency to promote a spirit of community service. It doesn't have to be anything grand or extraordinary; as long as we have a healthy body, we can absolutely participate in blood donation."
Within the club, some members have participated in voluntary blood donation nearly 70 times, becoming familiar faces at medical facilities. Bui Van Hung, the club's chairman, shared: "Deeply understanding the value of each drop of blood to the lives of patients, many club members are quietly and actively continuing the journey of humanitarian blood donation. This noble act not only promotes the tradition of mutual support and compassion but also ignites a flame of humanity, strongly spreading the spirit of sharing for the community, so that these drops of loving blood will continue to flow, reviving many more lives."
In addition to actively donating blood and encouraging people from all walks of life to participate, the Vinh Phuc Voluntary Blood Donation Club also regularly collaborates with organizations and individuals to visit and give gifts to many disadvantaged people, lonely elderly people, orphaned children, etc., in the province. These meaningful gifts are handed directly to the recipients, offering encouragement and support to families, spreading a spirit of compassion in the community.
This activity has profound humanitarian significance, contributing to caring for the lives of vulnerable groups. Through this, the club further affirms its role in coordinating with units, organizations, and philanthropists to jointly carry out social welfare work, aiming for the goal of "leaving no one behind."
