Donating livestock to women in difficult circumstances.

On the afternoon of March 3rd, the Women's Union of Phuc Khanh commune organized the distribution of chicks under the "Livelihood Donation" model to disadvantaged women members in the commune.

This is a practical activity to celebrate International Women's Day (March 8th) and the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

At the event, the Women's Union of the commune distributed 350 chicks to 15 disadvantaged women members in the villages of Gia Ha, Ham Rong, and Tan Ben. The chicks were selected to ensure quality and suitability for local farming conditions. This donation of chicks to support livelihoods has significant material value, helping women develop their family economies and demonstrating the Women's Union's commitment to supporting and assisting in social welfare work.

After donating breeding chickens to the members as a means of livelihood, the representatives of the Women's Union of the commune expressed their hope that the members would actively apply the knowledge of poultry farming techniques and care for the flock according to proper procedures. This would increase their income, improve their living standards, and lead to sustainable poverty alleviation.
