
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan Province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Provincial People's Committee announced numerous activities to express gratitude and appreciation to those who contributed to the revolution. Accordingly, the province requested that all sectors and localities focus on disseminating and educating about revolutionary traditions, fostering patriotism and national pride, and raising awareness and responsibility among all levels, sectors, and the people in implementing the preferential policies of the Party and State for those who contributed to the revolution and their families. Promoting movements such as "Paying gratitude and repaying kindness," "Remembering the source of the water you drink," and "Communes, wards, and towns doing a good job in caring for wounded soldiers, martyrs, and people with meritorious service" contributes to motivating and caring for the lives of families of those who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution. Fully and promptly implementing the preferential regimes and policies of the Party and State for those who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution. Continuing to do a good job in caring for and repaying the kindness of those who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution and their relatives. Organizing practical and meaningful activities to express the gratitude and appreciation of the Party, State, and people towards those who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution. According to the plan, activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Thuan province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025), will include visits and gift-giving to families of policy beneficiaries and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution in the province. In addition, the plan includes reviewing and repairing infrastructure at the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery, and constructing and repairing houses for policy beneficiary families and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution under the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Binh Thuan province for the period 2024-2025. It also proposes posthumously awarding the prestigious title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother to two women. Furthermore, it emphasizes the timely and full implementation of preferential policies for those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution according to current regulations. Focus on resolving issues related to nursing care, commemorating martyrs, and gifts from the President on July 27th for those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, using funds from the central government and the province. In addition, promptly review and resolve cases where individuals who have met the eligibility criteria for preferential policies for those who have rendered meritorious services but whose relatives and families have not yet requested the competent authorities to resolve them. Completely resolve all outstanding complaints and denunciations related to the implementation of policies and regulations for those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution. Simultaneously, strengthen inspection and monitoring of the implementation of preferential policies and regulations for those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution according to plan, and propose strict handling of violations in the implementation of these policies and regulations.

In addition to the above activities, sectors and localities actively mobilize agencies, units, businesses, officials, civil servants, employees, and the people to contribute to the Gratitude Fund at the commune, district, and provincial levels, ensuring the set plan is achieved. They organize visits and gift-giving to war invalids, families of martyrs, and exemplary individuals who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution and are facing difficulties. They implement repairs and upgrades to the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery and memorial sites in districts, towns, and cities to ensure solemnity, cleanliness, and beauty. They continue to support the construction and repair of houses for those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution. They disseminate information to localities to commit to preventing the recurrence of poverty and the emergence of new poor households with members who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution. They strengthen efforts to search for and mobilize the people to discover the graves of martyrs so that their remains can be gathered and brought to the Martyrs' Cemetery, and organize the burial of martyrs' remains with due care, ensuring the identification of martyrs' remains whose information is incomplete. Effectively implement the movement to provide support and care for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution and are facing difficulties, ensuring they have a better life.
