Implementing key tasks for the Science and Education sector in the second quarter.

On the morning of April 17th, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting to review the work on Science and Education in the first quarter and to implement key tasks for the second quarter of 2025.

In the first quarter, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the departments within the Science and Education sector proactively and closely coordinated to fully and promptly implement the assigned tasks. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department advised the Provincial Party Standing Committee to issue a report summarizing 15 years of implementing Directive No. 42-CT/TW, dated April 16, 2010, of the Politburo of the 10th Party Congress on continuing to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations during the period of accelerated industrialization and modernization of the country; and issued guidelines for science and education work in 2025, and guidelines for disseminating Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. Regularly monitor and keep abreast of the implementation of directives and resolutions on science and education in localities and related sectors. The departments within the Education and Science sector consistently adhere to the province's political tasks and the guidance of higher authorities; they closely coordinate in propaganda work as well as comprehensively carry out professional tasks in the fields of education and training, science and technology, health, population, physical education and sports, family, children, and environmental resources...

To effectively carry out the work of the Science and Education sector in the second quarter of 2025 and beyond, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department requests that all sectors within the bloc strengthen propaganda, monitor the ideological situation of cadres and Party members, and promptly provide guidance and create consensus in the implementation of professional and political tasks of the unit in the context of the upcoming abolition of district-level administrations, merger of commune-level administrations, and merger of provinces. Specific guidance is needed on record keeping and advising on the implementation of tasks in the new situation. Attention should be paid to implementing directives, resolutions, and conclusions of the Central and Provincial authorities as prescribed, especially: thoroughly understanding Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025, of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels leading to the 14th National Congress of the Party; Summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo (12th term) and commending and rewarding outstanding collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style during the period 2016 – 2025.
