(NLĐO) - The police have summoned the suspect who brutally assaulted an 11th-grade male student, causing injuries, following a traffic accident.

On the evening of February 18th, information from the Vinh City Police ( Nghe An province) indicated that they had coordinated with the Quang Trung Ward Police to identify the person who assaulted NQS student, causing a stir on social media, as Dang Thai Hoang (born in 1995).

The police summoned this person for questioning. According to the police, the initial cause stemmed from a minor traffic accident that led to a conflict, and Hoang assaulted the male student S. as shown in the video.

Also related to the above incident, on the evening of December 18th, in an interview with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of Quang Trung ward, Vinh City, Nghe An province, stated that the police are investigating the case of a teenage boy being assaulted by a man following a traffic accident in the area. Specifically, according to this leader, the incident occurred around 5 PM that day, when a teenage boy riding a motorbike had a minor collision with a man walking across the road.

Earlier, on the evening of February 18th, a video appeared on social media showing a man repeatedly cursing, punching, and kicking a teenage boy riding a motorbike in the middle of a busy street. Despite being repeatedly attacked, the teenager did not resist, only covering his face and enduring the blows. The incident only stopped when a woman intervened.

After the clip was shared on social media, many people were outraged by the man's thuggish behavior. Many opinions suggested that authorities should intervene and severely punish the man for assaulting the victim in the clip.

According to initial information, the incident took place on Tran Phu Street (opposite Vinh City General Hospital), Quang Trung Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An Province on the afternoon of February 18th.

The victim was identified as NQS (17 years old, a 11th-grade student), residing in Quang Trung ward, Vinh City. Following the incident, S. was taken by her family to Vinh City General Hospital for examination in a state of panic, with an initial diagnosis of a broken nose and injuries to the mouth area.
