Arsenal travel to Yorkshire with considerable apprehension. Mikel Arteta's side have just endured a run of three consecutive Premier League matches without a win, a result that has created the first cracks in the Gunners' title ambitions.
Despite maintaining one of the best away records in the league, Arsenal have only won 2 of their last 6 away games. The 2-3 defeat at the Emirates against Manchester United last weekend has only increased the pressure on the North London club, especially since their closest rivals, Manchester City and Aston Villa, both secured 3 points, thus narrowing the gap to just 4 points.
Arsenal's problem is nothing new: their ability to control the game and create chances during the build-up phase continues to be disappointing. Their xG (expected goals) from open play is only 0.39, indicating a team that hasn't performed up to the standards of a title contender.
Nevertheless, the 3-2 victory against Kairat in the Champions League earlier this week has somewhat boosted the morale of coach Arteta's team.

Conversely, Leeds United have been quietly accumulating valuable points towards their goal of avoiding relegation. Under the guidance of manager Daniel Farke, "The Whites" are currently 16th but have created a 6-point gap from the relegation zone.
Leeds' home form is their biggest strength, as they have only lost two games at Elland Road this season and are unbeaten in their last five home matches.
Despite dropping points against Everton, Leeds still showed their resilience, especially in the first half, something Arsenal need to be particularly wary of. The head-to-head history favors the Gunners with six consecutive Premier League wins, including a resounding 5-0 victory at Emirates. However, Elland Road is always considered a "cauldron," ready to challenge any big team.
For Arsenal, three points are essential if they don't want the title race to become more intense than ever.
