According to the announcement, the pedagogical majors continue to have high benchmark scores, demonstrating their increasing appeal. Of which, Literature Pedagogy achieved the highest benchmark score with 27.32 points, equivalent to an average of over 9 points/subject. Other majors also maintain high benchmarks such as Preschool Education 26.28 points, Primary Education 24 points, Mathematics Pedagogy 23.3 points, English Pedagogy 23.6 points. Although there are up to 530 quotas for the pedagogical majors, the entrance scores are still at a high threshold. Notably, the benchmark scores for pedagogical majors are announced with odd numbers up to two decimal places, reflecting the fierce competition and appeal of this group of majors. It is known that Ha Long University is one of the few university training institutions in the country that applies a special regime for pedagogical students, contributing to increasing appeal and ensuring stable recruitment sources.
In the foreign language group, Chinese Language continues to affirm its appeal with the benchmark score ranging from 22.5 to 24 points depending on the admission method. Japanese, Korean, and English Language majors maintain scores from 15 to 24 points, reflecting the trend of diverse choices and the increasing demand for learning foreign languages in the context of integration.
For the economic , service and tourism sectors, which are the school's strengths, the benchmark scores remain stable at 16-22 points. This is a positive signal, consistent with the large demand for human resources in the tourism and service sector of Quang Ninh province, a locality that is always among the leading localities in the country in attracting tourists.
In 2025, Ha Long University will enroll 25 undergraduate majors and 1 college major, while expanding admission methods such as combining with foreign language certificates and provincial and city-level excellent student awards. This contributes to creating more opportunities for candidates and improving input quality.
