Many of the school's training majors take over 27 points, including: Computer Science , Artificial Intelligence, Control and Automation Engineering, Data Science.

In 2025, the University of Engineering and Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi will enroll about 4,000 students, based on 4 admission methods: direct admission; admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; admission based on the capacity assessment test scores organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi and admission based on SAT scores.

Last year, the University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi set the benchmark score based on the high school graduation exam score ranging from 22.5 to 27.8 points. Information Technology had the highest benchmark score, followed by Computer Science (27.58) and Artificial Intelligence (27.12).

The school's tuition fees are 34 and 40 million VND for the 2025-2026 school year.
