Teaching the art of Cheo opera.

On the morning of April 23rd, the Provincial Cultural Center, in coordination with the Thai Thuy District Cultural and Sports Center, held a presentation on the results of the traditional Cheo opera training course.

A traditional Vietnamese opera (cheo) training course was held at the Thai Thuy District Cultural and Sports Center for 10 days, attracting more than 50 students from communes and towns in the district. Distinguished artists and staff from the Provincial Cultural Center taught traditional cheo melodies and excerpts, and guided students in performing cheo. At the course's closing ceremony, students performed traditional cheo melodies such as "Do Dua," "Dao Lieu," "Con Nhen Giang Mung," and "Sa Lech Chenh"; excerpts from the traditional cheo play "Ly Truong - Me Dop"; and cheo songs like "Hat Ve To Quoc Hom Nay" and "Que Em Diem Hen."

The traditional Cheo (Vietnamese folk opera) training course aims to make a practical contribution to preserving and promoting this unique traditional art form of Thai Binh province; at the same time, it aims to improve the quality of Cheo club activities in localities and the cultural life at the grassroots level.
