Kinhtedothi - In the early days of 2026, amidst the new beginning for the country and each family, Vietnam Airlines, in coordination with the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), organized the "Happy Flight" - a special journey where the message "Happy Vietnam" spread from the ground to the sky, from simple gestures to the sincere emotions of each passenger.

The journey to happiness begins right on the ground. At the check-in area, passengers on flight VN1553 felt a unique atmosphere of happiness. The FID screen displayed the words "Happy Flight," a small detail but enough to evoke excitement for the first journey of the year, where passengers' emotions went hand in hand with the flying experience.

At the Lotus Lounge, 19 couples on the flight were presented with mascot costumes by Vietnam Airlines as a warm welcome for the new year. The familiar atmosphere of the lounge became warmer as passengers connected with each other through everyday stories and radiant smiles.

The floral ribbons that couples gently tie around their partner's wrist are not only a New Year's gift, but also symbolize companionship, togetherness, and wishes for the long journey ahead for each family.

Sharing his feelings on the flight, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duy emotionally stated, "The 'Happy Flight' holds special meaning as it's the first time my wife has ever flown. More than just a new experience, the flight also helps couples strengthen their belief in the enduring bond of marriage by witnessing many different heartwarming stories."

Couples signed their names on a special model of Vietnam Airlines' aircraft, as a way to commemorate the shared experience of "Happy Flights," where individual happiness blended with the shared joy of the passenger community.

At the boarding gate, Vietnam Airlines staff and the Organizing Committee warmly welcomed passengers. Waving hands and wishes for a safe journey concluded the ground trip, opening the way for a flight carrying love to take off from the skies of Vietnam.

From an altitude of thousands of meters, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), shared heartfelt words with passengers: “The 'Happy Flight' is a meaningful continuation of the Vietnam Happy Fest 2025, a vibrant symbol of the message we want to spread: The happiness of each family is the foundation of a nation's happiness. The meaning of the 'Happy Flight' is like a wish for peace and well-being at the beginning of the year, while also demonstrating the cooperation between Vietnam Airlines and the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information in spreading a positive, humane, and culturally rich image of Vietnam.”

The passenger cabin became warm and inviting with the sweet melodies of the song "Changing Seasons." The appearance of singers Erik and Lam Bao Ngoc provided a special musical experience, allowing passengers to fully feel the New Year's atmosphere right in the sky.

Singer Erik emotionally shared: “ “The Happy Flight” is an incredibly special and unforgettable memory for Erik, as it was the first time Erik sang on an airplane. I am truly moved because after accompanying 80 couples in the Vietnam Happy program, this time I have the opportunity to meet and spread love with Lam Bao Ngoc through the activities of the Happy Flight.”

Amidst the music and joyful sounds, each passenger wrote their own message on a greeting card, expressing their wishes for a peaceful and happy new year for their families and for Vietnam.

The flight attendants become "keepers of happiness" by capturing each memorable moment and handing passengers instant photos. Therefore, the joy doesn't just last for a moment but stays with passengers throughout their flight.

The passengers on the flight were also immersed in a moment of happiness, feeling the warmth and friendliness—values that make Vietnam a happy destination in the hearts of friends around the world.

The radiant smiles and firm handshakes of the couples concluded the "Happy Flight" with simple yet heartwarming emotions.
