A bookshelf for children, spreading knowledge and love.

At Huu Lien Primary and Secondary School (Lang Son province), the Libreria Project educational project organized the "Summer Melody" event, which included building a library, donating books and stationery, and teaching life skills to students.

Libreria Project is a community project established in 2020 by a group of high school students in Hanoi, aiming to spread a reading culture and bridge the educational gap. Throughout its operation, the project has implemented various activities such as a series of programs promoting reading habits, fundraising fairs, and soft skills training sessions for students.

Entering its 7th season, "Summer Melody" is a key event and also the concluding activity of the project's journey in this phase. With the message "Sowing the seeds of knowledge - Adding color to dreams," the program aims to provide students with engaging experiences, inspire a love of reading, and equip them with essential skills for holistic development.

Within the framework of the program, members of the organizing committee directly participated in teaching life skills, organizing interactive activities and exchanges. Simultaneously, they collected books and built libraries, contributing to creating more learning resources for local students. This combination helps students not only access new knowledge but also better understand the importance of reading in their studies and critical thinking development.

Sharing her thoughts on the event, Le Quynh Anh (11th grade Geography 1, Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students), Head of the Libreria Project Organizing Committee, said: “For Libreria, the mission of spreading reading culture is a journey of sowing the seeds of knowledge and dreams in students. We hope this event will inspire a passion for learning and help students develop important skills through interactive activities and talk shows.”

Meanwhile, Thanh Xuan, a student in class 8A at Huu Lien Secondary School, shared: “I felt very happy to participate in the life skills lessons and games with the older students. After the program, I found it easier to plan for my future.”

The event created a meaningful space for connection between students, teachers, and volunteers. The program not only provided valuable educational experiences but also concluded the 7th season of the Libreria Project, leaving a beautiful mark on the journey of "Sowing the Seeds of Knowledge – Adding Color to Dreams".
