At nearly 80 years old, artist Thanh Thế is no longer as mentally sharp as she used to be. Sometimes she becomes confused and speaks incoherently.

Although he can no longer remember the lines of the works he once performed, artist Thanh Thế still performs the postures and movements of his stage characters smoothly.

Upon hearing artist Phuong Dung promise to visit frequently, the former leading lady of the Cai Luong stage clearly showed her joy at having someone to keep her company. Furthermore, when encouraged to eat well to regain her health and return to her passion for art, the singer from My Tho enthusiastically said, "I'll go back to singing right away."
