Possessing youthful energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to contribute, the youth of the Fatherland have affirmed the strong position and role of the Youth Union, becoming a powerful arm and reliable reserve force of the Party. With a pioneering, proactive, and creative spirit, the youth of the Fatherland have joined hands with the entire political system and the people to build an increasingly prosperous homeland.

Proud to contribute

Hoang Thi Huong Thao, a young member of the Muong ethnic group in Luong Son commune, Yen Lap district, is one of 39 outstanding individuals who continuously strive to improve their lives and contribute to the community and society. She received the first "Learning Never Ends" scholarship from the Provincial Education Promotion Fund. This is not only an honor and a source of pride, but also a motivation for Huong Thao to continue striving and working harder.

Starting from a small tailoring shop, Ms. Thao has always strived to learn and improve herself. With a daring spirit and honed skills honed over many years, she opened her own garment factory in 2016, with two locations in Luong Son and Xuan An communes, Yen Lap district. The products from Ms. Thao's factory are of good quality and have attractive designs, attracting many customers. After deducting all expenses, she earns approximately 250 million VND per year, providing employment for 30 local workers.

Comrade Vu Dinh Ngoc - Secretary of the Yen Lap District Youth Union, assessed: Ms. Hoang Thi Huong Thao's garment factory has contributed to economic development and created jobs for many local workers. Ms. Thao's efforts, struggles, and achievements are an example of the perseverance and willpower of young people.

Established in 2017, the UDV-19 Volunteer Student Club of Viet Tri Industrial University, formerly the Volunteer Student Club under the Viet Tri Industrial University Youth Union, initially had 19 members. Over 7 years of operation and expansion, the club now has 50 official members and 30 collaborators. With the motto "Volunteering is a voluntary and conscious act of participation; using one's time, strength, skills, and knowledge to contribute to the community," the club has become a place for young people to interact, exchange experiences, and hone their life skills, while also organizing many meaningful volunteer activities, creating opportunities for the younger generation to contribute and grow.

In 2024, the club organized numerous community-oriented volunteer activities, notably: the "Green Summer - Loving Sunshine 2024" volunteer campaign in Doc area, Kiet Son commune, Tan Son district; the "Supporting Students During Exams" campaign at Viet Tri Technical High School; and the "Loving Spring - Tet Reunion" program in Cao Xa commune, Lam Thao district... with a total mobilized resource value of over 40 million VND. During these campaigns and programs, the club distributed nearly 50 gifts to disadvantaged children and poor households. They also organized cultural exchange programs, summer activities, English lessons, and awareness campaigns on preventing and combating school violence for young people. Donating the "Bookcase for Children" project to Kiet Son Primary School, Tan Son district... The UDV-19 Student Volunteer Club was honored to be one of 200 clubs, teams, and groups recognized in the National Volunteer Day 2024, Winter Volunteer Program 2024, Spring Volunteer Program 2025, and the Ceremony to honor outstanding volunteer clubs, teams, and groups with excellent contributions and achievements in volunteer work for the community, contributing to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, organized by the Central Committee of the Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

Youth of the New Era

In implementing the campaign "Building the Model Values ​​of Vietnamese Youth in the New Era" launched by the Central Youth Union, the Youth Union branches at all levels in the province have actively deployed and implemented it, bringing about many positive results and spreading widely among Youth Union members.

The Provincial Youth Union has intensified its efforts in promoting and educating young people on ethics and cultural lifestyles, aiming to build a generation of youth with revolutionary ideals, strong character, aspirations, and a desire to excel; living beautifully, usefully, and responsibly towards themselves, their families, and society. This has been a focus of attention and implementation by all levels of the Youth Union through various new, diverse, and effective forms, including political activities themed "Aspiration for Contribution - The Meaning of Youth Life" in the form of seminars, forums, and exchanges; and organizing the "Lighting the Dream of Rehabilitation" program in 2024 for female inmates at Tan Lap prison. The 19 "Young Theorists" Clubs have been well-maintained, providing timely information and guiding public opinion among young people.

Accordingly, youth union members have actively participated in activities for community life, leaving their mark in volunteer activities in all aspects of social life, creating a colorful picture of youthful energy on the path to building the homeland and the country. Concluding 2024 with the theme "Year of Youth Volunteers," the youth of the Fatherland have completed 17 youth projects and tasks at the provincial level; 67 youth projects and tasks at the district level; and 788 youth projects and tasks at the grassroots level. They also planted 250,980 new trees of various types...

Social welfare activities, aimed at improving community life, were implemented regularly and continuously, targeting disadvantaged areas and groups such as policy beneficiary families, war veterans, poor households, and the elderly. Throughout the province, 27 free medical examination and treatment sessions were organized, providing free medicine to over 6,000 people with a total value of nearly 800 million VND; over 13,000 gifts were distributed, including warm blankets, clothing, essential goods, and teaching and learning equipment, worth over 5 billion VND; and voluntary blood donation activities yielded over 4,000 units of blood. Over 10,000 young volunteers participated in volunteer work to help people in areas affected by Typhoon No. 3 clean up and repair houses, collect garbage, sanitize the environment, and harvest crops.

In conjunction with youth, the Youth Union at all levels has effectively organized emulation movements and activities to support and encourage students to excel in their studies and cultivate a spirit of self-learning; actively implemented the "5 Good Students" movement, the "3 Disciplined Students" movement, and maintained and developed study clubs, teams, and groups at the Youth Union branches and associations. In the 2023-2024 academic year, there were 548 "5 Good Students" at the school level and 25 at the provincial level; 220 "3 Disciplined Students" at the school level and 1 at the provincial level; 2,216 "3 Good Students" at the school level and 26 at the provincial level; and 65 academic clubs, teams, and groups among students were maintained and operated effectively with 870 members.

Comrade Bui Duc Giang - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - affirmed: The achievements made in the past year mark a milestone in the maturity of the youth of the Fatherland. With their youthful energy, dynamism, enthusiasm, and creativity, the youth of the Fatherland will continue to develop their capabilities and intellect, working together for community life, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; actively participating in building a stronger Party and government, worthy of being a reliable reserve force of the Party.
