Before the second match of Group G, Vietnam and Kenya had no points, while Germany and Poland both had 3 points, sharing the top two positions. To keep their hopes of advancing, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team had to beat Germany. However, the gap in skill level between the two teams quickly became apparent on the field.

In the first set, the Vietnamese girls played with determination, continuously chasing each point with Germany. However, the European team showed superior spirit and experience when accelerating at the end of the set, winning 25-18.

In set 2, the familiar scenario repeated itself. Vietnam started well, but towards the end, Germany controlled the game more and more and ended the set with a score of 25-17.

With few options left, Vietnam focused on set 3. However, Germany maintained solidity in both defense and attack to end the match with a 25-21 victory.

In the end, Germany won 3-0, while Vietnam suffered its second consecutive defeat. After two losses, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team's chances of advancing are almost over.

Before the match, Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet expressed his hope that his players would maintain their confidence and play their best to contribute to a good match, instead of focusing on winning or losing. He emphasized that the most important goal of the team in their first participation in the Women's Volleyball World Championship is to learn and gain experience when facing the world's top teams.
