"Feverish" because of the emotional virtual living corner
During the days when the whole nation was joyfully looking forward to the National Day on September 2, manySHB transaction counters across the country suddenly became new “virtual living coordinates”. No longer the familiar banking space, the transaction points were dressed up in a brilliant appearance with a bright red flag photo booth, eye-catching decorative frames and messages spreading the spirit of national pride.
From Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho, Da Nang, everywhere you can see images of young customers, multi-generational families or even SHB employees taking photos together to capture the moment. In just a few minutes of waiting for transactions, people can easily have radiant check-in photos, then share them on social networks with the hashtag celebrating National Day.
Crowds of people pose with SHB gifts at a photobooth on Tran Hung Dao Street, Hanoi.
Lan Anh (26 years old, office worker in Hanoi) took advantage of her lunch break to walk around the streets. Seeing the SHB photobooth with bright red colors placed right in the lobby, she immediately invited her colleagues to take some photos with her.
“Usually, when I go to the bank, I only think about transactions. Today, there is a lovely check-in space like this. I feel surprised and excited. I posted the photo on social media, and my friends all texted me asking for the location. I am really happy that the bank connects financial activities with youthful and meaningful experiences on big holidays,” Lanh Anh shared.
Young people enjoy checking in at the "virtual living coordinates" on the occasion of the nation's great anniversary.
In Ho Chi Minh City, Minh Quan (22 years old, a final year student at the University of Economics ) could not hide his excitement when visiting the SHB transaction office in Ben Thanh Ward. After completing the opening of a new card, Quan and his group of friends stood for quite a while at the photobooth to take souvenir photos.
“I think this idea is great, turning the bank into a more friendly and youthful place. It’s really meaningful to have a check-in place with a strong national spirit like this on National Day. The photo I posted on Facebook received a lot of likes,” Minh Quan said with a smile.
Not only young people are excited to check-in, many older customers also find their own joy in this special space. If the photos of young people bring fresh, modern colors, the moments of middle-aged and elderly customers remind them of sacred memories of the Fatherland and national pride, making SHB photobooth a place to connect generations on important holidays.
Many middle-aged customers shared that the unexpected presence of a bright photo booth right at the transaction counter made them feel warm and proud. “This holiday is associated with many sacred memories, now being preserved through simple photos at the bank makes me emotional,” one customer expressed.
Showing gratitude to customers, spreading patriotism with SHB
From the brilliant frames at the photobooth, SHB's journey to spread national pride on the occasion of National Day was continued by a larger-scale campaign: "Happiness is being Vietnamese" - where every financial transaction is associated with a message of gratitude and community connection.
The campaign “Happiness is Vietnamese” was launched by SHB to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, with the desire to arouse traditional values and the spirit of national unity. The highlight is the unique gift set designed by social enterprise To He, carrying the message of 80 years of Independence, sent by SHB to customers as a deep gratitude.
40,000 gifts are waiting for customers at all SHB transaction points nationwide.
More than 40,000 gifts have been prepared to be delivered to customers when they make financial transactions such as opening accounts, making savings deposits, investing, issuing cards or registering for digital banking services. With the idea of “every transaction is a joy”, SHB hopes to turn seemingly familiar activities at the counter into experiences associated with emotions and national pride.
In particular, on the occasion of the National Day, SHB respectfully sends its gratitude to customers born in 1945 or whose birthday coincides with the Independence Day with meaningful gifts. In particular, for citizens born on September 2, 1945, SHB presents the entire collection "Happiness is being Vietnamese" as a symbol of the sacred connection between the journey of the Fatherland and the life of each person, growing up and maturing together in the era of independence and freedom.
Not only stopping at giving gifts, the campaign also recreates historical stories through the video series "Memories" through the lens of historical witnesses who were born and grew up along the country's journey. Each character in the series is a storehouse of memories, a link between the past and the present, inspiring today's generation to continue the aspiration to build the country.
Along with that are a series of direct and online interactive activities such as designing personal T-shirts, checking in at historical sites, sharing family memories... creating a space for the young generation growing up in peace like Gen Z, Gen Alpha to express their patriotism together. Thereby, affirming that "Happiness is being Vietnamese" is not just a slogan, but a flow that continues through many generations.
SHB representative said, not just stopping at a preferential program, behind the exciting activities, "Happiness is Vietnamese" is also a message of aspiration and belief that SHB wants to send to the young generation, the future owners of the country.
“For the young generation, history is not only a book but also a source of inspiration for you to write new stories. "Happiness is Vietnamese" is the message: Every transaction, every personal project today is a brick building the prosperous future of the country. SHB wishes to accompany you on that aspirational journey, from the simplest things", SHB representative emphasized.
