The Tình Húc sandbank on the Lô River, bordering Nông Tiến and Hưng Thành wards in Tuyên Quang city, has become an impromptu swimming spot for local residents.

During the hot season, some alluvial plains along the Lo River are used by locals as impromptu swimming spots, always posing a risk of drowning, especially for young children.

The People's Committees of Nong Tien Ward and Hung Thanh Ward have posted signs to inform, remind, and warn people to stay safe when coming to this area, but many people still disregard the danger and swim out into the water. In recent years, there have been several tragic drowning incidents in this area.

Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities in Tuyen Quang province arrived at the scene to organize a search for the victim.
