The Provincial People's Committee listened to and gave opinions on several issues.

(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the morning of June 28th, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Hoang Tuan, chaired a meeting to hear and give opinions on several issues to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council. Also attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien; members of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the leadership of the Committees under the Provincial People's Council; and leaders of several departments, agencies, and localities.

At the meeting, representatives from the Departments of Finance, Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Construction presented the following topics: Replacing Resolution No. 03/2022/NQ-HĐND dated April 13, 2022, of the Provincial People's Council promulgating regulations on the decentralization of management and use of public assets within the scope of Quang Ngai province; Regulations on reward levels for coaches and athletes achieving success at national and provincial-level sports competitions; Regulations on architectural management of Quang Ngai city; Regulations on architectural management of the new Son Tinh urban area; and Policies to support the cost of using cremation services in Quang Ngai province.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Tien Dung presented the regulations on reward levels for coaches and athletes.

Discussing the content of the replacement for Resolution No. 03/2022/NQ-HĐND dated April 13, 2022, of the Provincial People's Council promulgating regulations on the decentralization of management and use of public assets within the scope of Quang Ngai province, Director of the Department of Justice Ton Long Hieu suggested that the basis and procedures should be carefully studied to avoid future complications, especially regarding the authority to decide on the procurement of assets for science and technology tasks using state budget funds within the local management scope.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan delivered a speech at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Tran Hoang Tuan, requested the drafting agencies to fully incorporate the feedback from the delegates attending the meeting and to promptly finalize the drafts for submission to the Provincial People's Council at the next session. He specifically noted that, regarding the proposal to replace Resolution No. 03, the Department of Finance needs to clearly state the fundamental changes in the draft compared to Resolution No. 03/2022/NQ-HĐND.

Regarding regulations on reward levels for coaches and athletes achieving success at national and provincial sports competitions, it is necessary to refer to the regulations of neighboring provinces and cities to ensure similar reward levels across localities. Concerning policies on supporting cremation costs, the level of support should be considered in accordance with the actual conditions of each locality.
