Prioritize intra-provincial tourism.

This summer, instead of planning long trips to other locations, many families and groups have opted for local tours within their own provinces to explore new destinations right in their hometowns.

Prioritize intra-provincial tourism.

Anh Phat Tourist Area attracts many visitors who come to explore and experience its attractions.

During the Hung Kings Commemoration Day and the April 30th - May 1st holidays, Anh Phat Tourist Area (Hai Binh commune) attracted a large number of tourists, including quite a few from within the province.

Ms. Nguyen Anh Dao from Ham Rong ward said: "Every year my family and I choose to travel far, but this year we decided to visit tourist areas and attractions within the province to explore and experience new things. This helps save costs, allows us to be more flexible with our time, and still discover many new things. At Anh Phat Tourist Area, I was truly captivated by the lush, airy nature and also participated in many interesting activities such as kayaking, riding jet skis, and enjoying many delicious fresh seafood dishes."

According to representatives of Anh Phat Tourist Area management, during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the April 30th - May 1st holidays, the occupancy rate of the resort rooms reached 100%, with a significant proportion of over 50% being domestic tourists, mainly groups and families. To best serve the needs of tourists, the resort continuously focuses on renewing its products and improving service quality in the direction of "One destination - multiple experiences". Therefore, in addition to sightseeing and relaxation, visitors can also explore many unique, new, and modern tourism products such as visiting and taking photos at the art square - one of the 17 squares in the Monaco Nghi Son art city project with completely different art and architectural works, inspired by the four elements that make up the universe: earth, water, fire, and air. In addition, guests can enjoy high-class accommodation services along with many amenities such as a gym, sauna, steam & jacuzzi; spa; bar - coffee shop; outdoor swimming pool; karaoke bar; wine cellar; mini supermarket... Along with that is the Anh Phat sports complex including a golf practice area, tennis courts, football fields, and table tennis facilities to cater to guests' health and entertainment needs.

Since the beginning of summer, the Cam Luong Sacred Fish Stream Tourist Area (Cam Tu commune) has attracted a large number of visitors, primarily from within the province. Mr. Phung The Tai, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Cam Tu commune, stated: "Identifying summer as the 'golden time' to attract a large number of tourists, the locality has proactively developed many new, attractive, and diverse tourism products. The highlight is the cultural and artistic activities and unique folk games such as stick pushing, throwing the ball, and playing the 'danh mang' game... In addition, visitors can also shop for local products and enjoy dishes of the Muong ethnic people living here."

This summer, Ms. Trinh Thi Hoa from Hoang Hoa commune also chose nearby destinations within the province, including the Cam Luong Sacred Fish Stream Tourist Area. Ms. Hoa shared: "What impressed me most about the Cam Luong Sacred Fish Stream Tourist Area is the freshness and tranquility. Here, I got to admire the fish swimming in the Ngoc stream and learn about the life, culture, and enjoy traditional specialties of the Muong people here. Therefore, there's no need to go far; just experiencing destinations within the province has allowed me to discover many new and fascinating things."

According to representatives from several travel agencies, while tourists previously tended to book tours outside the province, there has been a clear shift. Short-term trips to nearby destinations with convenient transportation are becoming increasingly popular. Destinations such as beach tourism (Sam Son, Hai Tien, Hai Hoa), eco-tourism and resort tourism (Pu Luong, May Waterfall), and cultural and spiritual tourism (Ho Dynasty Citadel, Lam Kinh, Cam Luong Sacred Fish Stream) are attracting a large number of tourists due to reasonable costs and flexible schedules. Responding to this change in tourist habits, travel agencies have focused on promoting beach tourism, cultural tourism, and community-based eco-tourism within a single experience program to extend the length of stay and increase spending. Simultaneously, they are developing longer-duration tours exploring Thanh Hoa province, connecting tourists from beach resorts with community-based eco-tourism destinations to meet the diverse needs of visitors.

To attract and best serve the needs of tourists during the peak summer travel season, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has directed tourist areas, attractions, and accommodation establishments throughout the province to strictly adhere to price listing and selling at the listed prices. Absolutely no arbitrary price increases are allowed during the peak season. The Department also encourages travel agencies to proactively adapt through promotional programs, flexible tour packages, and prices suitable to the new needs of tourists. At the same time, it emphasizes strengthening security, order, safety, and civility in welcoming and serving tourists, strictly prohibiting any behavior that negatively impacts the image of Thanh Hoa tourism.
