Collision with a train leaves two girls injured or killed.

At approximately 6:55 PM on August 24th, a serious accident occurred in alley 210, Ngoc Hoi Street (Van Dien Ward, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi ), resulting in one death and one injury.

At the time of the accident, the two young women were riding together on a motorbike with license plate 35AN-047.XX, coming from alley 210 Ngoc Hoi and crossing the railway tracks.

During the railway crossing, passenger train SE 8 (traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi), driven by train driver NVL of Hanoi Locomotive Enterprise, collided with a motorbike.

At the scene, the two victims were found lying 1.5 meters from the outermost edge of the railway track, level with carriage number 3.

The two victims received initial first aid from local residents and the ship's crew. However, one died at the scene, while the other sustained head injuries and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment (the identities of the two victims are being determined).

The incident is currently being investigated by the Thanh Tri District Police. The Railway Traffic Police Team (Hanoi City Police Traffic Department) is coordinating to secure the scene as per regulations.
