Collision with train, 2 girls injured and dead

At about 6:55 p.m. on August 24, at lane 210 Ngoc Hoi street (Van Dien, Thanh Tri, Hanoi ), a serious accident occurred, killing 1 person and injuring 1 person.

At the time of the accident, two young girls were riding a motorbike with license plate 35AN-047.XX from alley 210 Ngoc Hoi across the railway.

While crossing the railway, passenger train SE 8 (running from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi) driven by NVL train driver of Hanoi Locomotive Enterprise hit a motorbike.

At the scene, the two victims were lying 1.5m from the outer edge of the railway; across from car number 3.

The two victims received first aid from local residents and the train crew. However, one died on the spot, while the other suffered head injuries and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment (the identities of the two victims are being clarified).

The incident is being investigated by Thanh Tri District Police. The Railway Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) is coordinating to protect the scene according to regulations.
