There are still 5,488 properties (houses and land) that need to be dealt with.

According to data released by the Ministry of Finance , the agency has issued numerous documents guiding and urging the acceleration of the implementation of the arrangement, allocation, and handling of buildings and land after the reorganization of the administrative apparatus and units at all levels, as directed by the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Prime Minister. Among these documents is a request for localities to report on the situation regarding the arrangement, allocation, and handling of public buildings and assets after the reorganization of the administrative apparatus and units.

However, in December, compliance with the required weekly reporting schedule was still not fully achieved. Specifically, in the week from December 1st to December 7th, 2025, 14 out of 34 localities had not submitted reports; in the week from December 7th to December 14th, 2025, 19 out of 34 localities had not submitted reports; and in the week from December 15th to December 21st, 2025, 24 localities had not submitted reports. Notably, two localities, Thai Nguyen and Ho Chi Minh City, had not submitted any reports at all.

Regarding the overall data on the arrangement, allocation, and handling of houses and land in localities, the total number of completed land and property facilities as of December 26, 2025 is 19,658. Of these, 4,538 are allocated as office buildings; 3,401 as facilities for public service activities (excluding education , training, health, culture, and sports); 87 as official residences or official accommodation; 2,620 as educational and training facilities; 570 as health facilities; 2,130 as cultural and sports institutions; 431 for other public purposes; and 2,026 are assigned to land development organizations or real estate business organizations for management and exploitation. Used for other purposes: 3,860 facilities.

The total number of properties and land parcels that still need to be processed is 5,488.

Currently, eight localities have completed the process: Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Gia Lai, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Hanoi, Nghe An, and Hue. Two localities, Hung Yen and Thai Nguyen, have issued decisions to process all properties. Quang Ngai ranks last with 791 properties still needing to be processed.
