After the Liberation of South Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975), the literature and arts of Vinh Phuc quickly transitioned from wartime to peacetime activities, continuing to fulfill their mission of creating valuable works to serve the Fatherland and the people. With their talent and tireless creativity, the writers and artists delved into reality, reflecting all aspects of social life, proving themselves worthy soldiers on the cultural and ideological front.

Over the past 50 years, Vinh Phuc's culture and arts have accompanied the country's development. Implementing Resolution 23 of the 10th Politburo , the Provincial Party Committee has issued an action program on continuing to build and develop culture and arts in the new phase, creating new momentum for the development of the province's culture and arts, affirming the role and position of culture and arts in the cause of national construction and development.
Resolution 23 of the Politburo affirms: "Culture and arts are very important and particularly subtle areas of culture; they are essential needs, expressing the aspirations for truth, goodness, and beauty of humankind; and they are one of the great driving forces that directly contribute to building the spiritual foundation of society and the comprehensive development of Vietnamese people."
Over the years, the province has always paid special attention to the development of culture and arts; strengthened leadership and guidance in effectively implementing policies for the development of culture and arts; and encouraged writers and artists to create valuable works of art to serve the cultural and spiritual needs of the people.

The Provincial Association of Literature and Arts serves as a common home for unity and gathering of its members. Currently, the Association has 187 members, operating in 6 specialized branches: prose, poetry, literary criticism - folk art, music - theater, fine arts, and photography.
Creative activities in arts and culture are becoming increasingly vibrant, rich in content, and diverse in form. Artists and writers are creating many high-quality works of art and culture, praising the Party, the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, and love for the homeland; encouraging and motivating the people in labor and production, studying and following the example of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style; participating in the movement to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas; protecting the sovereignty of the country's seas, islands, and borders; and focusing on the land and people of Vinh Phuc.
By organizing creative writing activities by specialization and theme, and emphasizing the responsibility and creative individuality of its members, the province has seen the publication of hundreds of books by its members in various genres including short stories, novels, literary criticism, and folk art over the past five years.
Each year, Vinh Phuc province has 20-25 literary and artistic works that win awards at regional, national, and international literary and artistic competitions. Many authors have achieved outstanding results, including Hai Thanh, Ngoc Tung, Minh Anh, Hoang Cuc (poetry, prose); Vu Hai (photography); Hoang Truc (fine arts); Ngo Duy Dong (music), etc. Many of these works have left a strong impression on readers and audiences.
Research, theory, and criticism in arts and culture have made significant efforts, contributing to the discovery and affirmation of what is good and beautiful, and combating and criticizing deviant and erroneous trends in life. In addition, hundreds of songs, works of art photography, fine art, stage scripts, and television films have been created, exhibited, and promoted… serving the socio-economic development goals of the province and contributing to the national arts and culture.

The Vinh Phuc Literature and Arts Magazine - the official publication of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts - is constantly being innovated in content and format, gradually meeting the demands of its readers.
The magazine has made a positive contribution to disseminating the Party's views and guidelines on cultural and artistic development; introducing and promoting the works of its members; and simultaneously nurturing the creative force in arts and culture, guiding creative direction and aesthetic taste for the public.
Through their literary and artistic works, artists and writers in Vinh Phuc not only actively participate in building the cultural and spiritual life of society but also make a significant contribution to strengthening the people's trust in the Party's leadership and promoting the initiative and creativity of people in the cause of building and protecting their homeland and country.
Vietnamese literature and art engage deeply with reality, both celebrating and encouraging new elements, while criticizing the negative aspects of society, especially the decline in ideology, morality, and lifestyle; protecting justice, human dignity, human rights, and the beautiful cultural values of the nation.
In building and developing culture and arts in the new era, the province continues to implement tasks and solutions to create conditions for culture and arts to fulfill their role and mission in building and developing culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.
