The seminar strongly affirmed the mission of literature and art in the national cultural revival in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

The workshop featured 35 valuable presentations, with 10 invited authors speaking on pressing issues in literature and art, and the direction of cultural industry development from the perspective of three cities: Hanoi , Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City.

At the conference, experts unanimously agreed that literature and art are the spiritual foundation and core driving force in creating a system of values. Literature and art not only reflect the face of society but also directly create humanistic values, nurturing the soul, lifestyle, and character of Vietnamese people in the new era.

Through the lens of the three centers of Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City, literature and art sketch a diverse yet unified cultural picture, affirming the important position of each region in the national lifeline. Literature and art play a pioneering role in nurturing cultural aspirations, prosperity, and national pride. At the same time, literature and art are a "soft power" that promotes the economy and cultural industries; it encourages the redesign of cultural heritage into "soft power," helping heritage not only become memories but also economic drivers through digital art spaces and creative ecosystems.

Another important issue raised at the conference was the role of literature and art in preserving and promoting heritage values in the modern context. Literature and art help traditional art forms (such as Cheo, Ca Tru, Nha Nhac, Ca Hue, Don Ca Tai Tu) remain vibrant in modern urban spaces, instead of being merely "fossilized relics" in museums.

Literature and art serve as a bridge between old and new values, helping heritage "re-adapt" to preserve the national spirit in the face of urbanization challenges and the explosion of artificial intelligence (AI). In the current context, there is an urgent need to promote digital transformation and establish common digital art platforms to extend the lifespan of artworks and ensure the sustainable development of Vietnamese art in the era of integration.

Literature and art are factors that promote the cohesion and dissemination of Vietnamese culture to the world and create a sustainable linkage mechanism between cultural centers to jointly spread Vietnamese cultural values.

In the era of the digital age and the explosion of artificial intelligence (AI), Vietnamese literature and art are facing groundbreaking contributions to cultural development. Today's artists and writers are not only content creators but also "nucleus" providing raw materials for art and tourism.

Digital transformation is not just about changing tools, but also about comprehensively restructuring the art ecosystem. From digitizing heritage to reshaping aesthetic experiences on social media, literature and art are striving to extend the lifespan of works and create new approaches.

Speaking at the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Do Hong Quan, President of the Union of Vietnamese Literature and Arts Associations, emphasized: "Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW of 2026 of the Politburo on the development of Vietnamese culture is of special importance, clearly affirming the position and role of culture in the sustainable development of the country. The resolution places culture at the spiritual foundation of society, while also considering culture as an endogenous driving force for national development."

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Do Hong Quan, this also poses a new requirement: associations must innovate their methods of operation, while maintaining their professional identity and effectively participating in the common tasks of the Fatherland Front, especially in mass mobilization work and building national unity. Through literature and art, they can help sow beautiful emotions, cultivate patriotism, national pride, community spirit, and civic responsibility.
