This is the highest price for gold bars ever recorded. The spread between buying and selling prices remains high, at approximately 3 million VND per tael.

Domestic gold prices experienced an unexpected surge, rising sharply to over 108 million VND/ounce by the end of April 15th. This morning, SJC gold bar prices continued to reach a historical peak, nearing 110 million VND/ounce.
Domestic gold prices surged as global gold prices surpassed $3,260 per ounce this morning, an increase of approximately $40 per ounce compared to the previous session. The precious metal continues to be an attractive investment channel, having experienced a series of consecutive price increases over the past several months and currently reaching an all-time high.
However, with the dramatic surge in SJC gold bars, some analysts warn that this type of gold is showing signs of price manipulation amidst scarce supply and not a significant increase in demand.
"Are there signs of price manipulation in SJC gold bars, given the recent sharp increases?" – this gold expert questioned.
Notably, the market is experiencing a sharp increase in the price of SJC gold bars, while gold bars from other brands such as Thang Long Gold of Bao Tin Minh Chau Company are trading around 104.1 million VND/ounce for buying and 107 million VND/ounce for selling, about 1 million VND/ounce higher than the price of plain 24k gold rings from other brands.
Currently, the world gold price, converted using the listed exchange rate, is approximately 102.1 million VND per tael.
