According to Kitco, the spot price of gold in the world market at 4:30 AM Vietnam time today was $2,669.48 USD/ounce. Today's gold price increased by 0.66% compared to yesterday. Converted using the USD exchange rate (25,733 VND/USD) in the free market, world gold is priced at approximately 82.58 million VND/ounce (excluding taxes and fees). Therefore, the price of SJC gold bars is currently 3.62 million VND/ounce higher than the international gold price.

Spot gold prices rose for the fourth consecutive session today, reaching their highest level in over a week, driven by a surge in safe-haven demand following gloomy revenue forecasts from Nvidia, the AI leader, and escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
Spot gold prices rose 0.8% to $2,670.49 per ounce at 1:48 p.m. EST (1848 GMT), while US gold futures gained 0.9% to $2,674.90.
David Meger, director of metals trading at High Ridge Futures, said: " This has really been a significant geopolitical factor impacting the gold market over the last few days – the escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia are perhaps the most notable ."
Investors flock to safe-haven assets during global crises, and the price of gold has soared to numerous record highs since the Middle East conflict erupted last October.
With the US vetoing the UN ceasefire resolution in Gaza and tensions rising between Russia and Ukraine, geopolitical risk premiums remain high, ensuring gold's long-term appeal.
Meger added that the stock price drop following Nvidia's earnings announcement certainly supported the precious metal from a safe-haven perspective. Global stocks fell after Nvidia, the AI leader, failed to excite investors with its revenue growth forecast.
Spot gold prices rose 4% this week, their best gain since April, recovering from last week's sharpest drop in over three years. The decline in gold bullion was driven by a surging dollar, fueled by excitement over the "Trump Trade".
Jim Wyckoff, senior market analyst at Kitco Metals, said in a note: " The next bullish target for (gold) is to create a close above the solid resistance level at $2,700.00 ."
Brokerage firms predict that the tariffs proposed by President-elect Trump will fuel global market volatility and inflation , limiting the ability of central banks to ease monetary policy.
Meanwhile, a Reuters poll showed that most economists predict the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in December, with smaller cuts expected in 2025.
Investors' attention is also focused on several Fed officials expected to speak this week. Expectations of a December rate cut have fallen significantly, with the probability now at 56%, a sharp drop from 82.5% just a week earlier.
Spot silver prices fell 0.1% to $30.85 per ounce, platinum prices rose 0.5% to $965.75, and palladium prices increased 1.5% to $1,036.13.
